Today was another great day that started with bucket-laundering and discussions about women’s issues in Kenya. I have no pictures of either, but I’m switching to a photojournal format today:

Katie, Clare, and Tarifa at Ida’s house, yesterday. I learned to slaughter chickens! It was a gift from a family we visited. Lucy and I plucking feathers. Ines plucked one! The Emma girls hitting the books with the kids. Clare can dance! Ben can dance! A cake. Note: Kenyan custom is to pour water on people on their birthday. Tarifa got wet. Maria leading the parade. A birthday Tarifa will never forwet. The library at the University of Kakamega.

What an amazing set of pictures, and I especially love the dancing and birthday cake!
